I have other strange symptoms too, (which I never thought of as strange until I started comparing myself to my wife) and am finding a lot of them fit in with EDS. Every doctor I have seen has diagnosed me with a repetitive strain injury because I am a computer worker (although this doesn’t explain ankle pain.) For about six months I have had pain in my ankles/feet too. Personally, I have been suffering with severe joint pain in my fingers, hands, and elbows, along with ulnar nerve trouble, and muscle pain in my back for over a year. She was never given a diagnosis as to which type of EDS she has, but we always assumed she has the hyper mobile type because she can bend her joints so much. My sister was diagnosed with EDS and POTS some years ago and has very hyper mobile joints typical of the hyper mobile EDS. Thus I was hoping somewhere her may have an answer for me. I have been researching EDS and have found some conflicting information.
